Rushing up to Dalat to shake off the exhaustion of non-stop deadlines, we simply looked for a quiet corner for a deep sleep. Yet by pure luck, we happened to book a little wooden cabin nestled against the hillside at Lưng Chừng House. And just like that, this "spur-of-the-moment" getaway turned into one of our sweetest and most unforgettable memories ever.

The moment we arrived, the first impression was the warm, immaculate wooden room opening wide with glass doors toward the lush, misty pine valley. But what truly touched and warmed our hearts the most was the thoughtful care of the team here. Everyone was gentle, attentive, and hospitable to the smallest detail — from carrying our luggage and pointing out scenic sunrise corners, to checking if we were chilly or needed extra blankets and hot water. It felt like being taken care of with natural warmth, like returning home to family after a long journey.

The highlight of the journey was undoubtedly that evening. Following a recommendation from our host, we ordered an evening BBQ set right at home. The food at Lưng Chừng exceeded all our expectations: flavorful marinated meats sizzling enticingly over hot charcoal, rolled with fresh, crisp greens freshly harvested from the garden, dipped in rich sauces while breathing in the crisp mountain air of Xuân Thọ.

What delighted us even more was that the team had set up a large outdoor movie projection screen under the open sky. Amidst the tranquil silence of the mountain night, sitting beside the flickering campfire, savoring hot grilled skewers, and leaning on each other's shoulders watching our favorite film under a canopy of stars... that moment was truly cinematic, peaceful beyond words.
